An EPS shape moulding machine is a piece of equipment that helps produce expandable polystyrene. These machines are 100% manufactured in Germany. This machine helps reduce the volume of EPS, which means that it can be shipped to recycling centers more economically. It also produces a variety of shapes, such as cubes, squares, and rectangles.
An EPS shape moulding machine uses a computer-controlled machine to produce three-dimensional objects out of EPS foam. This type of foam is extremely strong and lightweight and is commonly used in the construction industry for soundproofing and insulation. CNC-controlled machines ensure consistency and accuracy in the end product.
The process of foam molding involves using a screw to apply pressure to molten plastic. The plastic is then injected into a mold cavity. After the plastic has cooled, it is shaped. This process is cyclical and involves four steps: quantitative feeding, melt plasticizing, pressure injection, and mold closure. Once the process is completed, the product is removed from the mold, and the mold is closed again to begin the next cycle.
